As we set our sights on 2025, we are excited to continue this journey with you, creating even greater impact together.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for being an essential part of our story. Let’s keep building a brighter future!

FERNANDA’S GLASSES

Fernanda Silva, a dedicated Financial Consultant who happens to be visually impaired, seeked for support to acquire a transformative tool: Envision GlassesThese glasses are specifically designed for the visually impaired, offering remarkable features.

In just 7 hours of the campaign, we reached 103% of our goal, totaling $4150 that were used to purchase new glasses and minutes of usage for Fernanda.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

Alliance Group and VER teamed up to provide 200 school kits with backpacks for children in need in the Dominican Republic and beyond!

Together, we also raised $15K to ensure these kits reached deserving children, making a lasting impact on their educational journey.

MARTA MARTINS COMMUNITY HUB

This year, we reached another height on our Mirandiba project! The Marta Martins Community Hub will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including dedicated spaces for medical professionals and dentists to provide essential healthcare services.

Additionally, we will have classrooms equipped to support education and skill-building initiatives, furthering opportunities for personal and professional growth.

APRIL

MAY: PHASE 01

SOS RIO GRANDE DO SUL

After the floods that devastated over 400 cities in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, our co-founder Vangels Fred Martins and Gustavo Couto visited some of the cities affected, bringing emergency relief for families at that moment.

However, at that moment, our commitment became clear: ENOUGH OF DESTRUCTION, IT WAS TIME FOR RECONSTRUCTION!

After visiting Rio Grande do Sul, our team decided to take on one of our most challenging V-Solutions yet: building houses in Rio Grande do Sul as fast as possible. That way, we would be able to change the scenario, one life at a time.

From the end of July to the beginning of September, 45 days, the first 06 houses were delivered. But none of that would be possible without our amazing connections and partnerships.

On this phase, we were able to give 02 of the 06 houses we built in Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul. You can check more of how we did that through the links below!

JULY - SEPTEMBER: PHASE 02

OCTOBER - NOVEMBER: PHASE 03

04 more houses to deliver – 04 more families to bless. Through the months of October, and November, we were able to fill our last 04 houses in Rio Grande do Sul!

Besides that, our partnership with Aliança Evangélica brought us an amazing project – Christmas at Home.

Together, we were able to deliver 04 more houses in 2024 – totaling 10 families blessed through our hard work!

SOS NORTH CAROLINA

In September 2024, the eastern coast of the US faced a new challenge: hurricane season. After Hurricane Helene’s passing, it was time to change this game. People in North Carolina needed resources and reconstruction.

That’s when we came in, bringing emergency relief by serving the communities of Canton and Asheville.

OCTOBER - NOVEMBER

SOS FLORIDA

October brought a new challenge to the people in Florida: a tropical depression turned into a CAT 5 Hurricane in less than 48 hours.. Soon enough, we started preparing ourselves, putting up 03 bases in Florida, aiming the start of action after the Hurricane’s passing. On this action we were able to help many communities throughout Florida, by bringing them essential resources and reconstruction.

AVDA PROJECT ‘24

Our first year-end action aims to bring a happy holiday season to women victims of domestic abuse. AVDA is a home for many women that have been through these situations, along with their children. This is an act that shows hope is not dead for these women!

CALI CHRISTMAS ‘24

In Colombia, our second year-end action means a Merry Christmas for children in Cali, Colombia.

In partnership with the Iglesia Batista Confraternidad Vino Nuevo, we raised $1.900, which means 8 million colombian pesos! This action truly shows how much we can change someone’s world, even in small actions!

Our year may be ending, but 2025 is right around the corner...

As we near the end of 2024, we’re filled with gratitude and pride as we reflect on one of the busiest and most impactful years for VER – Volunteer Emergency Relief. This year’s successes would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our volunteers and the steadfast support of our community.

Your generosity, time, and belief in our mission have driven our progress and continue to inspire us to strive for more. Together, we’ve made a meaningful difference in countless lives.

As we step into a new year, we?re excited to keep building on this momentum. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming initiatives and ways you can continue to make an impact.

From all of us at VER, thank you for being a part of this journey. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a wonderful New Year! God bless you all!
