PROVIDE a safe sanctuary and essential resources for children in THIS community!

Iglesia Cristiana Bautista Divino Salvador is an evangelical church in San Vicente dedicated to serving children and families while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through its ministries, the church currently serves around 70 children in its church programs, 30 students aged 4 to 14 at Centro Educativo Divino Salvador, and additional children from the surrounding community through weekly discipleship activities.

Today, the church faces two important needs. The first is completing the roof of the sanctuary, which covers approximately 300 square meters. The original estimate two years ago was 900,000 Mexican pesos (about $52,900 USD), but due to rising construction costs the project is now estimated at around $60,000 USD. Finishing the roof is urgent, especially with the rainy season approaching, as the church currently faces excessive heat, dust, and difficult conditions during gatherings.

The second need is providing 100 school supply packages for children in the church, school, and community ministries. Each package includes a backpack, notebooks, pencils, glue, colored pencils, and scissors. The total goal for these supplies is $3,100 USD.

In total, the campaign seeks $60,000 USD for the sanctuary roof and $3,100 USD for school supplies. Your support will help create a better space for worship and continue investing in the spiritual and educational growth of children in the community.

ABOUT VER

VER – Volunteer Emergency Relief – is a non-profit that was founded on the above principle by Frederico Martins and Gustavo Couto, who, after a category 5 hurricane hit South Florida in the summer of 2017, decided to take action immediately. By mobilizing their communities around helping others, they were able to fully experience the acts of God right after the storm. Our mission is to bring peple emergency relief and hope, changing one life at a time.

ACTS OF NATURE, NATURAL DISASTERS, STORMS, OTHER CATASTROPHES. THOSE ARE NOT THE ACTS OF GOD. THEY CAUSE DESPAIR, DESTRUCTION, AND EVEN DEATH. THE ACTIONS WE TAKE TO HELP OTHERS AFTER THE STORMS SHOW THE ACTS OF GOD!

With respect to anonymous gifts, the VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief. will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.
