Months after the floods that devastated over 400 cities in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, we are ready to take the next step.

PHASE 01

First, we said: ENOUGH OF DESTRUCTION, IT’S TIME FOR RECONSTRUCTION! After visiting Rio Grande do Sul in May 2024, our team decided to take on one of our most challenging V-Solutions yet: building houses in Rio Grande do Sul as fast as possible. That way, we would be able to change the scenario, one life at a time.

From the end of July to the beginning of September, 45 days, the first 06 houses were delivered. But none of that would be possible without connections and partnerships. That changed the whole game. From the project, to the furniture, we had partners that took the responsibility with us.

One of these partners, Aliança Evangélica, not only understood the assignment, but decided to take this game to a new level.

PHASE 02: CHRISTMAS AT HOME

Stopping is not an option. Now we have people trained, we know what to do in order to deliver more houses. And this is the goal of our newest project.

Christmas at Home is a partnership between VER and Aliança Evangélica that aims to deliver as many houses as we can in Rio Grande do Sul until Christmas 2024. Our goal is to bring people out of the shelters, giving them a proper home as soon as we can.

But for that, we need to join forces and YOU can take part in this. Your donation is essential for the project. Each house costs 21.2 thousand dollars. Every cent counts, and YOUR donation can bring a merry Christmas for a family in Brazil.

The VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief.

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief.

The VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief. will provide acknowledgments to donors meeting tax requirements for property received by the charity as a gift. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no value shall be ascribed to any receipt or other form of substantiation of a gift received by VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief.

The VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief. will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

The VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief. will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders' fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the VER - Volunteer Emergency Relief.
