As partners, Alliance Group and VER are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of kids in Phoenix Eagles’ competitive program, sponsoring them to start a life-changing journey.
The program is seeing a rapid increase, but it still needs help from powerful donations. And that’s something we definitely understand about! Each kid’s sponsorship in the program costs $900 (or recurring donations of $75 through 12 months).
Let’s change lives together?

ABOUT PHOENIX EAGLES
The Phoenix Eagles are a Division of Missionary Athletes International (MAI). MAI was founded in 1983 with a mission of glorifying God and seeing lives transformed by sharing the message of Jesus Christ through the global environment of soccer. Eagles Youth Club is a soccer club that primarily serves innercity kids in Phoenix, many refugees and immigrants. They are committed to the underserved families who can’t afford a traditional soccer club. Their hope is to help them develop their soccer skills but, most importantly, their character and spiritual formation.
ABOUT VER
VER – Volunteer Emergency Relief – is a non-profit that was founded on the above principle by Frederico Martins and Gustavo Couto, who, after a category 5 hurricane hit South Florida in the summer of 2017, decided to take action immediately. By mobilizing their communities around helping others, they were able to fully experience the acts of God right after the storm. Our mission is to bring people emergency relief and hope, changing one life at a time.
A monthly gift keeps relief going after the headlines fade. Your gift keeps VER ready to respond where the need is greatest: disaster relief, rebuilding homes and volunteers in the field.
